A HISTORY OF SUCCESS

Hagar Civilization Training Missionary, has its corporate headquarters in the beautifully restored Bronner Brothers Historic properties located at the intersection of Martin L. King Jr Drive NW and Joseph E. Lowery Blvd NW.  


HCTM has made major improvements over the years to the transit pedestrian corridor and street elevation at the intersection of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard and Martin L. King Jr Drive.

Before Renovation

This location (below) used to be the home of one of the largest private African American hair and skin care makers in the United States,  Bronner Bros. Enterprise. 


They have since moved from this site. The site has been converted by HCTM into a beautiful headquarters, a Walk-By Museum and an incubator for local businesses.

After Renovation

This building (below), formerly the home of the Bronner Bros business mentioned above, is now the current home of HCTM. 

 

It has been transformed into a Virtual Walk-by Museum by HCTM’s leaders and it is also serves as a hub for local businesses in the area.

Hagar CTM Develops Affordable Housing

HCTM organization provides affordable residential housing for seniors, veterans, and disability-accessible housing for Westside Atlanta residents.

HCTM Organization Background

HCTM is situated in the Vine City and the English Avenue communities in the heart of the Atlanta historic civil rights movement, as well as, the epicenter of Atlanta’s African American economic greatness.

 

The organization provides affordable residential and commercial developments. They are adjacent to retail and service amenities. Major public transportation is one block away and includes the Marta Ashby Transit Station, as well as, Marta bus routes numbers 1, 3 and 68.

Hagar Civilized Training Missionary has built a reputation for upgrading the community by completing major projects such as:

HCTM CONVERTS BUILDINGS FOR USE IN WESTSIDE ATLANTA COMMUNITY

*  Preserving the Historic Bronner Brothers property as an attractive gateway to Westside Atlanta. It is also the home to the famous Civil Rights Movement and its many world-famous leaders.

*  It has been transformed into a Walk-by Museum by HCTM’s leaders and it serves as a hub and an incubator for local businesses in the area. 

HCTM PROJECTS FOR SENIORS, VETERANS, AND THE DISABLED ON THE WESTSIDE

*  Developing affordable senior, veteran and disability accessible housing for Legacy Residents.

*  Creating short and long term employment opportunities in the construction industry. 

*  Offering volunteer and intern opportunities for area students and youth.

*  Establishing a facility to offer a fee based martial arts training to youth and adults.

HCTM DEVELOPS PROJECTS FOR THE YOUTH ON THE WESTSIDE

*  Creating short and long term employment opportunities in the construction industry. 

*  Offering volunteer and intern opportunities for area students and youth.

*  Establishing a facility to offer a fee based martial arts training to youth and adults.

*  They can learn to use the internet and computers free of charge.

*  Incubating small businesses and energetic entrepreneurs.

HCTM ASSISTS WESTSIDE ATLANTA WITH COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

*  Assisting small business owners with accessing available resources and info.

*  Providing free meeting space for the MLK/Ashby Merchants Association.

*  Making free space available to operate in partnership with the Westside Community Alliance, Georgia Tech, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the Westside Resource Center. 

*  The building is situated in the heart of the Westside, where neighbors can apply for and renew public assistance benefits.
